I got this issue the day before I downloaded Minecraft Preview for my iPhone 8 and iPad (9th generation) when 1.18.20.26 Preview came out and it’s still in the game till today version 1.21.20.4.
Character Creator the skin can change its some parts to different color, clothes and hair or be bald and be different from the character in the Minecraft release 1.21.2
Showing some examples how this look in release version of the game and preview on same Apple devices
