This mostly a feature request not a bug so go to Minecraft Feedback instead. But I might be wrong
I double check again and yes its the datapacks that causing this error, removing them from the world will help get rid of the issue temporarily
But that not an billing issue, the transaction went successfully I went to create an realm after that I uploaded my main survival world that has four datapacks installed and I couldn't join my realm afterwards, even though my internet are fine.
The problem I think with a world with datapacks in it, because when I try to create absolute fresh new creative world I logged in into realm with no problem after that

Check if I have the same issue on my iPhone 16 right now and my response. Yes iPhone 16 with 256 gb have the same issue sadly, but freezing last only 1 to 2 minutes and not so frequent. So its not older devices issue only.
At first I thought it’s because my iPad only has 64gb of storage and Minecraft didn’t get enough of storage but I suppose is because something else now that causes this lag spikes.
Can confirm. This started to happened to me recently on new Preview 1.21.70.20 on my iPad 9th generation. I didn’t test yet if I has the same issue on my iPhone 16. But this only happens to me on recent Minecraft Preview, full release seems not affected for me.
I didn’t switch dimensions just created new world in new Preview and teleported myself to one of cold biomes

If spawning two adult cats or dogs then mate them the bug will not occur and the babies will be normal, this bug will only affect if clicking at the untamed adult cat or dog
