I was playing on my minecraft world with my friends when I noticed villagers dissapearing, I didnt think much of it because at that time I didnt build any protaction and maybe they wondered off, but then they started dissapearing very frequetly!!! We made sure to slip the night and we also plastered every square meter of the world with torches but they keept disappearing!!
That's until one of them disappeared in front of me, he was a snow villager that I brought trough the nether, at that point I gave up... Until my friend Who was coming home from a nether mining session found him in the nether and when he brought It in the overworld he teleported on the nether portal!!!

I tried to reproduce It today, the villager After editing the portal will claim a job and a bed and then he gets teleported inside the portal and by proxy in the nether, just like shown in the video.
It doesn't work when the world is set to offline, this happens only when the world is open or there are people inside playing with me.
This seems to happen only in the world show in the video as I tried in a new creative world and It didnt work, while when I tried in a Copy of the world It worked.
It seems like only villagers brought from the nether behave like this, although this doesn't explain all the other villagers that have dissapeared.
I will continue to test so see if I can riproduce It in another world
