Items keep throwing themselves from inventory

When I throw an item from my inventory, after I catch it, the item keeps being thrown unexpectedly.

What I expect: I accidentally throw an item, then catch it, it should just go back into my inventory and I move on.

What actually happens: After I catch an item, it just keeps throwing itself back out and I have to keep going back to catch it.

Steps to reproduce: Throw an item from inventory, catch it then the items throws itself back out again.
