Filling cauldron with lava from dripstone can be accelerated with forced updates

Can confirm, affects 1.21.31.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Build a contraption like the one pictured above.

2. Use a water bucket on the side of the sponge facing the cauldron.

3. Use an empty bucket on the cauldron to fill it up with lava.

4. Place a new dry sponge to reproduce the bug.

Observed results:
By using sponges to absorb a water source beside a cauldron being filled up by dripping lava, you can effectively bypass the wait time needed for the cauldron to naturally fill up with lava from a dripstone.

Expected results:
This shouldn't be possible.
