Significant Lag in Minecraft Bedrock Edition on iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th Generation)

Issue Description:

I am experiencing significant lag while playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th Generation), despite strong hardware performance and a stable, high-speed internet connection. The lag manifests as:

•Delayed responses to input commands

•Stuttering or freezing during gameplay

•Slow loading of chunks and entities

•Difficulty interacting with the game world in real-time

This issue occurs consistently, even when no other applications are running in the background.

Device and System Information:

•Device: iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th Generation)

•Operating System: iOS 17.6.1

•Processor: Apple A12Z Bionic (8 cores, 2.49 GHz)

•Memory: 6 GB RAM

•GPU: Apple A12Z GPU

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

•Updated Minecraft Bedrock Edition to the latest version.

•Updated iOS to version 17.6.1.

•Optimized game settings:

•Reduced render distance.

•Disabled fancy graphics and particle effects.

•Enabled VSync and set an FPS cap.

•Device maintenance:

•Closed all background applications.

•Restarted the iPad Pro.

•Ensured adequate storage space is available.

•Network troubleshooting:

•Restarted the Wi-Fi router.

•Tested gameplay on a different Wi-Fi network.

•Verified that other devices on the network are not consuming excessive bandwidth.

•Performed speed tests to confirm consistent internet speeds.

•Tested on different servers:

•Attempted to play on servers in different regions.

•The lag issue persists across multiple servers.

Additional Observations:

•Other online applications and games on the iPad Pro function without lag.

•The device does not overheat during gameplay.

•No significant battery drain or other performance issues are observed outside of Minecraft.

•The issue occurs regardless of the time of day, suggesting network congestion is unlikely.

•Latency remains stable at approximately 38 ms to the server.

Request for Assistance:

I am seeking support to resolve the lag issues in Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my iPad Pro.

Given the strong hardware performance and stable internet connection, I suspect the issue may be related to:

•The game's optimization on iOS devices

•Compatibility with iOS 17.6.1

•Possible bugs specific to the iPad Pro model

have the same issue until now it still freeze every 10secs, bro this isnt even about the specs or the ram anymore, its VERY DISTURBING

I am also experiencing lag on my 6th Gen, 12.9-inch iPad Pro with the latest version of Minecraft Bedrock for iOS (1.21.72). There is a consistent delay of several seconds when interacting with the touch screen for all actions (selection, interaction, block placement, and movement). Additionally, since 1.21.72, the game has been depleting battery at a much faster rate than normal, consuming approx. 1% of battery every minute. The iPad also gets warmer than usual. I am accustomed to Minecraft requiring significant battery and so typically keep my device plugged into power when playing, but I am not able to do that since 1.21.72 because playing while connected to power causes the iPad battery to exceed operating temperatures (I get a system warning on my screen). I have adjusted game settings and reduced FPS with no result. The ONLY way I have found to stop the game from overheating my iPad is to turn on Airplane mode and play offline. Playing offline does not improve the lag. I am hopeful this can be addressed soon. Thank you.
