Buttons On Redstone Blocks

You cannot place buttons on top of redstone blocks in pocket/windows 10 edition but you can in Java edition.

Unable to be placed on redstone blocks:

  • Buttons

  • Levers

Confirmed that this is a bug, as the redstone block is opaque in MCPE.

Logically, buttons etc should be able to be placed on every side. Same possibly goes for levers and tripwire hooks on the sides.

Apparently it is not a bug in the Java edition that you can only place these blocks on the top of redstone blocks which seems illogical.
