When I was testing some of my redstone machines in my redstone testing world I noticed that the redstone torch key was not working, the piston underneath the block was not extending I'm using Asus Zenfone Go or Asus Z00D 5.1
What I expected to happen was... :
The piston underneath the block should have extended when I place a redstone torch in front or on top of that block.
What actually happend was... :
The piston underneath the block did not extend.
Steps to reproduce:
1.place two blocks one of those being one block higher.
2.place a piston underneath the lower block.
3.place a redstone torch on the face of the higher block where the lower block is placed. The piston underneath the lower block should have extended but it didn't

I think you are referring to quasi-connectivity, which is not a 'feature' of MCPE. Could you please add a screenshot of the setup just to be sure?

I attached a screenshot of the setup already

By the sounds of it going on steps to reproduce it sound like it uses the piston bug that was fixed.
To me, that screenshot doesn't look anything like what you are describing in the ticket description.
Are you trying to achieve this?:
[media]If so, that is a bug that occurred in 0.16.* and is now fixed (see MCPE-16286)
The setup you pictured in the attached screenshot won't work in MCPE or Java as far as I can tell, unless there's more out of sight.

My screenshot is the only way this should work.
Resolving as a duplicate of MCPE-16286 as I think what you are trying to build is based on a bug that has bee removed from the game now. See MCPE-16286 for further details.
