Minor Snow Glitch

I don't see any "incorrect image" in the screenshot, just the usual snow, dirt and snow-covered-grass block textures. Why do you think this is incorrect?

Do you see how there isn't the correct snow texture on one of the block's sides, and how there is just a rectangle of snow on top of it?

@Do I dont think so the 2 middle blocks are too short just to be normal dirt blocks with snow on top of them, also block with snow on top of it are higher than a normal snow color grass block, and all the blocks are flush, it might be a texture error

I'm still not seeing it, it just looks like normal dirt blocks with snow on top in the middle and grass blocks with snow on top on the sides to me. I reproduced it here by replacing two snow-covered grass blocks with two snow-covered dirt blocks; it looks the same: http://imgur.com/a/v07zo

I'm pretty sure this is not a bug.

So it will only show the side texture if it's

snow
grass
dirt

and the texture will not show if it's

snow
dirt

?

Yup, that white icicle-looking stuff on the sides is only there on grassy blocks (seems to just be a white recolor of the side of the grass block). You can actually watch it disappear when sheep eat the grass (they can eat it through the snow)... if you didn't dig it up, sheep could explain how it got like that.

That's cool... Is there someone that can delete this page now that it has been understood?

Probably better to keep it around in case someone else reports it down the road. 🙂
