Zombie Drops Egg/(s) when killed on servers

I was playing with someone on a server, I was killing a zombie and was going to collect what it dropped. The same thing happened with the other guy.

It should have dropped Feathers but instead it dropped egg/(s)

There was no sign of the zombie was going to drop anything else apart from feathers.

I am sorry if this is a duplicate because my search bar was going crazy.
