After the Spring To Life update, the generation of certain things such as trees appears to have changed a bit, but terrain stayed the same. However, chunks keep glitching when they generate on the edges of areas that I have explored, causing cut off trees, water, snow, ice, and more. This happens when I go to the edges of wherever I was prior to the update in every world, and the glitched terrain is really annoying. I’ve also noticed that a few chunks that I had mapped prior to the update got altered too, as shown in the screenshots.
Steps to Reproduce:
Go into a world from before 1.21.70, but that still uses a current seed
Fly to the edge of the initially loaded spawn area in a direction that you haven’t traveled before and find glitched trees, walls of water, or rectangles of snow and ice
Recreate the world using the same seed, and notice that the terrain at those coordinates generates the same, but without the glitches
The world should have generated without the glitches to begin with
