This affects trees too and isn’t limited to cold biomes, as shown by these before and after map screenshots.
[media][media][media][media][media][media]I tried to add a video, but it says that it exceeds the maximum file size. Does this work?
[media]But I’m used to the other way since it’s been like that forever. I don’t want to have to move everything twice.
This may have been unintentionally caused by the fixes to MCPE-61891 or MCPE-182681, which were mentioned in the changelog, but it makes villager maps practically useless since there is no way to tell whether you are going towards or away from the structure. Additionally, pointers on regular maps disappear altogether once players get at least 320 blocks away from them.
Edit: A workaround for villager structure maps would be to consider the world’s cardinal directions, but this still isn’t a solution for finding regular locator maps once you get far away from them.
Well obviously you can’t reproduce the issue anymore. As I said, it was Fixed in the update two days ago.
This issue is fixed in the 1.19.73 Hotfix.
Affects the normal inventory in survival too. The label should just be at the bottom above the hotbar instead of next to the item since the labels cover up the number of items in that stack. Larger labels(like enchantments) also now cover up all of the items under them. The labels of all items in the creative inventory are also now showing very sensitively without having to fully click on and select them, which is annoying and hard to follow.
The furnace functions appear to have been repaired. However, you still cannot click rapidly to craft multiple items. You also can no longer tap and hold for a full stack as of 1.20.41. This combination makes crafting extremely slow.
I just updated my game, and this issue is back again.
