After updating to version 1.21.72 of Minecraft the game crashes when opening the game, the Mojang logo appears and then the game closes, in later versions this did not happen.

Game consistently crashes at 97% - Minecraft: Bedrock Edition - Jira Service Management

The same issue here. The launcher works, but when you launch Minecraft Bedrock, you get the red Mojang screen for a few seconds, then it all closes. Tried a fresh install, tried repairing it too. Can this be patched urgently?

This issue is being tracked at MCPE-212385.
