Intermittently, when using the analog joysticks on my controller (Nintendo switch / bluetooth compatible) for movement or looking around, the input seems to get ‘stuck’ or ‘repeating’ after letting go of the joysticks. Happens on both movement and looking around joysticks. I have verified the input from the joysticks are not ‘stuck’ or ‘dirty’. They drop back to 0 on all axes when released. This is not a deadzone issue. I played 1.21.72.01 (x86_64) with the same exact launcher and controller and every other setup identical and there is no issue. This appears to be an issue with the 1.21.80.03 (x86_64) version. I also verified identical behavior with 2 other controllers, both BT and wired connections.
Since the above is a little complicated/technical, an example of what I’m describing:
Walk forward using the analog controller. Release going forward. sometimes the player keeps walking forward. If I toggle the joystick again, it’ll stop walking forward. Additionally, if I hit a button (build/destroy/etc..) then the movement will also stop.
It seems like in some cases, a Stop-Current-Action event or something isn’t being registered, but doing some other action will cause the Stop-Action event - which halts the bug.
This bug makes it impossible to aim w/ a bow or clear out shriekers or..etc..
One more detail: I have the same version on my android tablet and using the exact same controller … does not seem to have the same issue (at least I wasn’t able to reproduce it on the tablet)
