There is consistent stuttering/lagging every 15-30 seconds on my iPhone 13. This has been an issue since 1.21 in general. I have deleted and reinstalled the game to have a fresh copy, and even on the lowest settings possible, I still lag every 15-30 seconds.
After doing some searching around about this issue, I have seen people with iPhone 14 and 15 complain about the exact same issue on other websites, like Reddit. There seems to be an issue with ios Minecraft with iPhones specifically, as my roommates old iPad does not experience this issue.
With or without mods, with highest or lowest settings, it’s always the same issue, so there is some memory leak or something going on. The only thing I can think that might be causing this specific issue is Apple’s new ‘game mode’ that automatically turns on when you open an app game. But other than that, I don’t know why the game stutters every 15-30 seconds on iPhones 13, 14, and 15.
You can replicate this by simply using the devices i’ve listed and playing a fresh download of the app game and then creating a vanilla world. Using add-ons/mods or texture packs makes the stuttering even worse, making the game unplayable to me now.

It is a Minecraft problem. I can literally play Dredge, Path of Titans, and ARK just fine without issues, so it’s not my device. The game needs to be optimized for iPhone.
me too, i have the same thing, i use 14 pro max, unfortunately every play the game with or without vibrant visual or add ons its keep lagging and overheating
Combed through reddit recently, and people with ios devices are still complaining about this exact issue.
Someone with an iPhone 12 pro made a post about how their game freezes 1-3 seconds every 15-30 seconds. Exact same issue as me.
This makes the game unplayable, as you’re frozen for 1-3 seconds, while being surrounded by enemies, and you just die, unable to defend yourself. So you can’t do raids and you can’t go to dangerous places. The game is unplayable for iPhone users right now.
Reproduced: small stuttering followed by massive freeze and unfreeze
