Happy Ghast shrinks in splitscreen multiplayer

I have been playing local splitscreen multiplayer with my friend. I spawned a happy Ghast. When I (the host, Player 1) looked away from the Ghast, my friend’s part of the screen saw the Ghast shrinking.

I think this may be a rendering glitch as my friend could stand on an invisible platform (the top part of the hit box of the Ghast, unaffected by this shrink paradox) and ride the Ghast. It looked like she was floating near the Ghast due to the fact that the hit box stayed the same, but the visible Ghast shrank.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Splitscreen local multiplayer.

  2. Spawn a happy Ghast.

  3. The host turns away from the Ghast.

  4. Player 2 sees the Ghast shrink.

  5. Player 2 can stand and ride on the Ghast as if it were normal size.

I have my video!

If there is no attachment I’ll try again.

My video doesn’t seem to be sending. However, I am on the latest version and this persists.

Your video seems not have, You can upload your video to cloud storage (Google drive, OneDrive, YouTube, Etc.) and make sure have a set public to allow access everyone.

And to clarify, when it says “I’m the host” it’s the one who is typing and moving (the friend is AFK)

Now the animation goes instead. I’ll do a separate bug report.
