Hello,
I recently re-installed my windows 10 OS and all my programs and when i launch Minecraft Windows 10 Edition i get no sound coming out of any of my speakers. Not even a Minecarft audio control section appears in the mixer.
Here are the list of fixes i have tried:
Removing and reinstalling minecraft
Removing and reinstalling my audio drivers
Updateing both my graphics and audio drivers
rolling back the audio drivers
Installing the KN & N version media pack for windows
changing the settings of my audio preferences to advance settings following several online tutorials
Sacrificing a goat to our lord and saviour notch
I have ran out of ideas and i can't seem to find any posts for people having the same issue as me.
Can someone please get back to me as soon as possible please?
*no goats were actually harmed

This issue is now fixed, i was actually fixing a start up glitch for GTA V, where if you have the KN or N version of windows you are required to have a specific media pack that contains MFREADWRITE.DLL installing this media pack also fixed my minecraft issue.
The link is below.
This was the only thing I changed since creating the post the game now runs perfectly 🙂 although I did lose all my saves. Is there a cloud save system being worked on? Not and online server system like realms but the worlds aren't that big and as the game integrates with XBL it would be nice to see the game utilise some the cloud systems XBL have. Just a thought.
Thanks for the info. For the cloud-saving feature please consider sending it to our feedback site.
Even though it is likely you have tried this already given the other steps you took to restore audio, please check the in game audio settings to see if they are up. Please also ensire that no resource packs (even ones that worked before) other than the default pack are applied. Finally please confirm that other sounds from other programs do play on your device.
