Multiplayer and split screen issues with Chase the skies update

​ updated to chase the skies today it looked beautiful on my child's account we tried to play split screen and it keeps disconnecting us no matter what we do we cannot play split screen and my character is playing in the previous update even though the game is updated and there's no way to choose an old version on Xbox no matter what I do everybody's account on my Xbox is playing in the new update but anytime I load into my account it's the old version and there's no way to fix it I tried resetting the Xbox clearing the data cache playing split screen is one of the main reasons we play the game and it's completely inaccessible thanks to today's update
