It's been a full day, can we please get an update?

It's been all day, can we please get a fix? This is the primary way we play minecraft:(

Same for us. Using XBox Series S. I know this is thing to sound harsh, and I don't mean it as harsh as it sounds, but how does something like this happen? Don't they load up the game and test it out before releasing in? I'm so confused. Also, if you turn vibrent visuals off, when the second player joins it automatically turns it back on when they load in. Hopefully that helps track down the issue. A fix as quick as possible would be appreciated. My family was excited to jump on together and play the update this morning.
