Steps to reproduce the issue
- Put any item in a copper chest that does not exist in any regular chests already containing items in the vicinity of a copper golem;
- The copper golem will attempt to find a matching item inside the chests.Expected result
- The golem will not find matching items inside the regular chests and will retrieve it to the copper chest.Actual result
- The golem will not find matching items inside the regular chests and gets stuck with it, with no way of retrieving the item or breaking the loop without first placing a matching item inside one of the chests or having a nearby empty chest for the golem to place the item in.
Suggestion: Make it so the golem retrieves the item to the copper chest if such item cannot be sorted. And/or let the player right-click the golem to retrieve the item manually.
Cheers and honey bottles,

That appears to be the case, yes. Having the golem place an unsorted item into an empty chest is also useful for sorting systems. The option to manually remove the item from the golem’s hands would be nice though.

Hi, I understand it that way, that you have to build a contraption that always has an empty chest, even if a copper golem put something in it
