I found 4 dead bushes naturally generated on grass blocks in Survival mode, without commands or any mods and cheats. Mention that it happened in Bedrock 1.21+, and I’m unsure if it’s a new feature or generation bug since dead bush is suppose to only naturally generate on sand, red sand, terracotta, or hardened clay in deserts, badlands, or old growth taigas, not grass.

Yeah, I agree that the dead bushes found in the swamp biome (like in the screenshot I included later) are indeed working as intended. However, I’d like to point out that the original dead bush I reported (shown in the second image) did not generate in a swamp, desert, badlands, or any of the valid warm biomes. It was found on a grass block in a different biome, likely plains or forest, and not manually placed. It was found near swamp biome, but when I checked the location, it appears to be in a different biome (likely plains or forest). That’s why I think it may still be the result of a generation bug or biome blending issue after world updates.
Please change the title of this bug report to be “Dead Bushes naturally spawn incorrectly” as currently it is misleading

This works as intended. Dead bushes can spawn in warm biomes like deserts and badlands and swamps and mangrove swamps
