I recently encountered a serious issue related to experience points (XP).
After a long time of completely legitimate gameplay (no mods, no cheats), I reached exactly 24,791 XP, but unfortunately, my XP has stopped increasing. I tried gaining more XP through normal means (killing mobs, mining, breeding, etc.), but the XP counter remains stuck at 24,791.
I tested everything:
Restarted the game and the device.
Saved and reloaded the world.
Tried different methods of gaining XP.
Even died and respawned.
Yet the XP number still won’t go above 24,791. This seems to be either a display bug or a hardcoded limit in the Bedrock Edition.
This issue is very disappointing, especially since I worked hard for months to reach this level fairly. It would be great if the XP cap (or bug) can be fixed or increased, or at least acknowledged.
