Sugar cane becomes invisible when the camera passes through it

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Plant sugar cane.

  2. Slowly walk up to it from 3 blocks away until you are standing at its horizontal center.

Expected

Per the 1.21.100 changelog

  • Sugar Cane clusters will now become slightly transparent when the camera passes through them

Observed results

Sugar cane clusters become fully transparent when the camera pass through them, i.e. the block is invisible when the camera is at its horizontal center.

This is disorienting and can lead to players unintentionally breaking the sugar cane, using bone meal on it instead of another block, or being unable to point at or interact with blocks they can see clearly. In the video below, I want to open the chest, but instead I place the grass block, and then when I try to break the grass block I break the sugar cane that I could not see instead.

Can confirm, by see it the video was a bug because was completely invisible the sugar cane @GoldenHelmet
