For over 2 years, I have been trying to dig out a whole world in creative, it's not an infinite world, I started using TNT to get rid of the world faster, but after I updated to the recent patch, when I try to detonate a batch of TNT to remove more blocks, The game freezes!

that isn't a bug, that's because of the amount of TNT that exploded, so it lagged your device and resulted into a freeze. also, there's a depth/height limit to every infinite world, you can cross both limits but you won't be able to place blocks at that point.
