"Treasure Hunter" achievement not working.

Me too. I looked up the problem on the internet to see if there was anything special I had to do. I saw a lot of people say they got the achievement in 1 or 2 minutes. I've been roaming around this ocean monument for at least half an hour. I got the "Deep End" achievement, but not the "Treasure Hunter" achievement. I've went in every room I could find and even mined strait through the monument, but still didn't get the achievement.

Please, someone help!

The only other structure I have a map for or that any cartographers will give me a map for is for a Woodland Mansion, and that mansion is at least 30 kilometers away from my house (I checked)! I really don't want to go that far for a single achievement, and I want to complete all the achievements on the same world. The last time I traveled that far the world became so laggy it was unplayable and I had to wait until the 1.2.0 update for the memory usage to be optimized enough for the world not to lag!

Also, there seem to be no other cartographers anywhere reasonably near my spawn, so that means no other structures I can explore to get the achievement. Except that Woodland Mansion, which will probably destroy my world save...

Please someone help!

I have this issue as well on Xbox one with an ocean monument. I have not attepted this with a woodland mansion and will circle back once i do. Version 1.2.2

Does not unlock when entering a woodland mansion using a map from a cartographer on Xbox

Still occurs in 1.2.3 on Xbox for woodland mansions and ocean monuments.

I have unlocked this in 1.2.5 on Xbox

I have had this issue on xbox one with woodland mansions in the regular xbox one game as well as the better together update. I have fully explored three mansions and had no luck getting the achievement.

I have had this Issue also, Ocean Monument, Explored it with map in hand and still would not pop. Xbox, better together update. I spent literally an hour walking towards the woodland mansion and couldnt get to it and I want to get all achivemnts on one map. Annoying to say the least as this is the last one to get.

V1.2.5 I just went to a Woodland Mansion with a Cartographers map, and I still didn't get the achievement! I made sure I was online this time. I mined straight through the Mansion. NO ACHIEVEMENT! I can get video evidence that I went through it with a Cartographers map without cheats on. I'll have to compress it so it fits here.

As you can see at the end, I show that I've never been in Creative on that world by clicking the Cheats switch and getting the window that asks me if I want to turn off Achievements and not allowing cheats, meaning Achievements should work. I also show that I still do not have the Treasure Hunter Achievement, and at the same time proving that I'm logged into Xbox Live. If I were not logged into XBox Live, I would not be able to see what Achievements I've gotten.

entered both ocean monument and woodland mansion with map in hand no achievement.

I had trouble with this also. I took the ocean explorer map out of my top slot and placed it in my regular inventory bar. within a few minutes it finally unlocked.

Also not working on Xbox. I bought a woodland explorer map from a cartographer and followed it for over 24,000 blocks to find the mansion. And the achievement did not unlock.

Same here, I obtained a Woodland Explorer Map from a Cartographer and entered it. Didn't receive the achievements.

Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Snapdragon Android 7.0

I tried what @mike f suggested, put the explorer map in my main hand, and it finally unlocked. Good thing I'd chosen to sign out in an AFK shelter in the mansion itself after clearing it and hadn't already started the almost 25,000-block journey back home

Well im going to try it out on my world if its a bug

I have the same problem.
Went 25 thousand blocks away for mansion didn't work. Went in every room with map in hand still didn't work.
I got another map from the cartographer for the ocean explored every room with map in hand still didn't work.
Please fix this!! This is the only achievement i have left 😞
