CJK IME Interference After Closing Inventory in Minecraft Preview

When playing Minecraft Preview for Windows with a CJK input method enabled, I followed these steps:

Pressed 'E' to open the inventory.

Used the CJK input method to type text into the search box.

Closed the inventory by pressing the ESC key twice. (It is crucial that the inventory is closed using ESC)

After these steps, the game fails to regain proper keyboard control. I become unable to perform any in-game actions. Pressing any keyboard key, including movement keys like W, A, S, and D, only brings up my CJK input method interface instead of executing game commands.
