In a peaceful mode achievements world on this version (1.21.111), I defeated the ender dragon, took the dragon egg, and explored the end islands. After I returned home, I farmed ghasts to get tears by switching the difficulty, I made the crystals (on peaceful mode), killed the dragon, and suddenly, the dragon egg appeared as it usually does when you kill it for the first time. The EXP obtained was the amount you would get from killing it a subsequent time, and I obtained the egg by teleporting it and then breaking it on a torch. The other egg was still there, and so now I have 2 dragon eggs in the world. Can I keep them, Mojang?
