[MCPE-51345] Killing the Ender Dragon a second time generates another Dragon Egg

I have two dragon eggs in my Minecraft survival no cheats world. I have beat the Ender Dragon 17 times in that world, but the first and second time, it spawned a dragon egg.

Steps to Reproduce:

Create a new world
Go to the End
Kill the Ender Dragon
Reload the world
Re-summon the Ender Dragon by placing four end crystals on the edges of the exit portal, one on each side
Kill the Ender Dragon

Observed Results:
A second dragon egg generates on top of the first dragon egg.

Expected Results:
The dragon egg should only generate when the first Ender Dragon is killed.

To add to this bug, for some reason, i get another enderdragon everytime i die while killing the dragon, meaning i have the ability to spawn 100 dragons in the same place. (this also makes a cool effect, as all the dragons follow eachother and do the samethings, if a dragon where to spit that purple thing, itll spit x times more than what its sopposed to depending of how many dragons are in the world.

I got this too, I'm not sure why or how it happened but the second time I killed the dragon I got the 12k xp and the dragon egg. I'm not sure why this happened, but I believe that because of a certain set of actions the game thought that was the first time you killed the dragon.

I dont think its a bug or a feature cause on Minecraft wiki says on java 1 dragon egg only will drop if you kill ender dragon even you respaen it but on bedrock dragon egg will generate again if you respawn ender dragon but if you try to respawn the 3rd ender dragon again i will not drop dragon egg again

I think I got an idea as to the details on this glitch. 2 years ago, I did the same thing. Except I never intentionally reloaded the world. I'd say I died in the end and then logged off for the day (it was a realm). I respawned the dragon and I got the 2nd dragon egg. After finding this report, I brainstormed in order to try get a 3rd egg. Id say that, as long as no account clears minecraft (aka they die), the egg will respawn. I tried this just a few minutes ago on 1.20.15. Worked as expected. Hell, i didnt even pick up the first egg. Just clicking it was enough. The dragon also gave the bigger xp amount. So Id say that this weird "uncleared game" state in the player or the world causes the glitch to be possible upon world reload. Gotta try doing it in the same session though. I hope that this can help Mojang fix the issue. Update: Dying and reloading actually works, backing up my theory. However, doing it without reloading ruins it

Version 1:21 Win 11 - I respawned the dragon for the first time in my survival world yesterday 30.06.24 and received a second egg! It completely confused me as I thought you could only get one. So it is still present in June / July 2024. I am on Bedrock Win 11. Picture now added. I do have a video as it was streamed if required. Conditions: Placed 4 end crystals down to respawn the dragon for the first time. After the battle another egg appeared where the first used to be. I was able to take the egg as per the normal mechanics. Hold both in my inventory and place both down.

Well, I have this bug too. Not once, not twice, but three times.

First of all, I have to mention that my world is already 2 years old and I play there with a lot of friends. Since this is my world, only I have OP rights, but since I have collected all the achievements with this world (and still want to), cheats are deactivated.

2 years ago I defeated the ender dragon with a friend and collected the first ender dragon egg, which went into the ender chest shortly afterwards.

About 8 months ago, 2 other players fought the Ender Dragon and then had an Ender Dragon egg. Since they knew that I had the first one, they reported it to me and after a conversation, they entrusted me with the egg. This also went into the ender chest.

About 3 months ago 2 other players had the same scenario. After a conversation, they gave me the ender dragon egg and I stored it (once again) in the ender chest.

And today I found the 4th ender dragon egg: I was on the way with a delivery of blocks to another player, who was building a map art in the End. On the way back I saw in flight that something was on the end fountain and when I approached it I couldn't believe my eyes because there was another ender dragon egg there.

But this time it was a little different. There was no ender dragon fight because the number of end transit portals exactly matched the amount stated in the last fight (which was the fight where we got the third ender dragon egg) and also none of the players reported having a fight against the Enderdragon again.

After this event, I created a copy of the world, increased the number to 30 with /setmaxplayers and invited every player and we discussed this bug in the voice call. I explained the situation to them first, because apart from the 4 players who received the 2nd and 3rd Ender Dragon Eggs and the 2 players who were present at the session for the 4th Ender Dragon Egg, no one knew that we had several Ender Dragon Eggs own. And as expected, none of the players had started a fight in the last 3 months and none had really had an explanation as to how this came about.

So I now have an extreme version of this bug, where the ender dragon egg has reappeared three times.

I also recently submitted this glitch when I found this in a survival world, and I plan to do it a third time (if the glitch triggers for the third kill) in order to make dragon egg monuments in each dimension. Do you think Papa Mojang will let us keep them? :)

I am on XBOX 1 and can confirm it happens on that console in Bedrock 1.21.111 (the current update). I have one dragon egg in a monument and one in a chest. I submitted the report yesterday and checked the chest and Overworld monument this morning. Both eggs were still there. This may be a pressing concern if servers like Hypixel or 2b2t update to this snapshot, as the duped eggs will be available all over again. This needs to be fixed, or I fear servers like 2b2t will be annihilated. It will be impossible to tell between kill dupes (which might be allowed, since they are genuine kills) and glitch duped with redstone (which are not).
