Boat vanishes on breaking - sometimes

Steps to reproduce issue:

1 Make a boat

2 Place in water

3 Break the boat ready to pick up

Expected result: The boat breaks as an item and can be picked up

Actual result: The boat breaks but the item vanishes - sometimes. This might be directional and doesn’t happen every time, but if you go exploring and get in/out of a boat regularly it is likely to happen sometime. I haven’t been able to establish whether it is directional, but seemed to happen more often heading along one route in one direction and not returning.
