I would like to report a graphical bug specific to custom shields with applied banner patterns after they have been enchanted, occurring only in the first-person perspective.
Description:
After creating a custom shield using a loom, banner, and dye, and then enchanting it via an anvil with an enchantment book (e.g., Mending), the texture on the back of the shield (the side facing the player in first-person view) becomes corrupted when the shield is held in either the main hand or off-hand. The back of the shield model appears primarily white with anomalous graphical artifacts, while the front (patterned) side displays normally.
Steps to Reproduce:
Obtain a shield, a banner, dye, a loom, an anvil, and an enchantment book (e.g., Mending).
Use the loom with the banner and dye to create a patterned banner.
Combine the patterned banner with the shield to create a custom patterned shield.
Use the anvil to combine this custom shield with the enchantment book, creating an enchanted, patterned shield.
Place the enchanted, patterned shield in either the main hand or off-hand slot.
Observe the texture of the shield in first-person view (holding the [use] button to block provides a clearer view).
Expected Result:
The back of the shield (in first-person view) should retain its standard texture with the characteristic enchanted glint animation shimmering over it.
Actual Result:
The texture on the back of the shield is glitched, appearing mostly white and covered with strange graphical artifacts. The front patterned side appears normal.
