Shield texture broken when it has a banner texture and enchantment glint

If you put a banner on an enchanted shield, it will turn a white-gray alternating solid color instead of the normal shield / shield enchanted texture. It obscures the pattern, enchantment glint, and regular shield texture fully. upon testing it only shows up on an enchanted and bannered shield, not sure if the specific enchantment or banner pattern has any effect. This does not effect just an enchanted or just a bannered shield. This only effects in the gameplay, not in the little guy in the inventory. Not sure if visual by other players.

The video provided shows the player and inventory view of a normal shield, enchanted shield, bannered shield, and a shield with both an enchantment and banner. It is in an unmodified world so no mods affect it.
