Abnormal wolf collars

When looking at wolves, I would expect it to be normal, a one pixel long strand of the collar color.

However, I have noticed they either are about 4-5 pixels wide (looking like a piece of clothing for the wolf), or, after I had just updated Minecraft PE today, the wolves changed their skin color to the color of the collar (as you can see in the attatched image, it is pink).

I am unsure how to reproduce this bug, as I am only aware it happens all the time. I do not believe I do anything to trigger it, because at any given time, if I were to look at the wolves, they would have abnormal collars.

I would like to also inform that this bug has only happened for other players' wolves. To me, this only occurs to my friend's wolf (whether they are online or not). On my friend's screen, their wolf looks normal, but mine has the same bug.
