Minecraft doesnt use wolf_tame.png in your resource pack. The result is taming a wolf causes it to revert to the original texture Work arround is to put your tame wolf texture on collar.tga but the result is the pet is discolored depending on what collar color you have selected.

On pc the textures are applied but the whole wolf is tinted the colour of the collar The tame texture is ignored on switch.
The wolf_tame must be a .tga file with the collar as the main layer and the body as a second layer to prevent incorrect colouring (will need a specific editor)
