This bug doesn't only affect the latest version but also a few earlier versions, I'm not sure since when it has been happening exactly but I believe somewhere around the 1.0 update. (I don't use the windows 10 edition that often)
What happens is very simple, the game crashes whilst showing the mojang screen. I start it up, I see the mojang screen, and it closes the window. I've re-installed the game about 50 times, I've updated all the drivers I could so those are not the reason it is crashing.
It is crashing (to my knowledge) because my account name has a 'ë' in it. (if I were to create an account called 'Account' (with just latin characters) I am able to launch and play the game perfectly fine)
I can't give anything else (like screenshots) since it just closes the window, no crash reports, nothing. If there is anything else I could include in this report to help, let me know.
(I have searched for anyone else reporting this issue but I haven't found any recent ones, if this has been fixed internally or is already a known bug, please ignore this report)
HOW TO FIX
I changed my account's name to not have an 'ë' in it, and now after about two weeks (it was still incorrectly cached and it didn't update directly after changing my name) it no longer crashes.

I've updated all my drivers and deleted the com.mojang folder multiple times but it still doesn't work unfortunately.
I tested this again on the newest version I could get from the Windows 10 Store app (version 1.1.500.0 according to the store app) and the issue is still there.
I have similar issues, game crashes at the Mojang screen, tried all of the above, and updated graphics drivers also - again to no positive outcome.

First of all, it might be worth trying to reinstall the game fully. Please give that a try and let us know if that helps.
Backup any data you don't want to lose, then try the following:
Backup your MinecraftWorlds folder (if you want to save your worlds) (Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds)
Uninstall MCPE
Delete the com.mojang folder (Device storage > games > com.mojang)
Reinstall MCPE
Run MCPE and if it works restore your MinecraftWorlds folder
