Netherite armor pieces are invisible, regardless of whether they are equipped in the character's hand or on an armor stand. They are only visible in the inventory or in the character's hand. If you break the armor stand, the armor pieces disappear (they are not dropped). You can remove the pieces from the armor stand, but you will not be able to re-equip them, and they will remain invisible.

I have an armor collection, most of them are made of diamond, i put them in armor stand and when i took a look, its just the same thing happened: they are invisible and dissapear if you break the amor stand.
