I had decided to do some adventuring, I took the compass out of my chest and noticed the missing texture. In my hot bar it seems to look and work fine, but when held, it is corrupt.
Specs:
-was in Savanna biome
-difficulty was hard
-was hosting realm
-2 other players were online in the realm

I hope the image shows, the clock has the same issue.
I was testing the speed command, to see what would be fair for a power-up of some kind, and got bored and gave myself speed 1 255 and got lost, and got the compass to find my way back, but it looked strange, then I checked most of the items on the weapons section of the creative inventory, I only found the clock to be textured strangely too.
I don't have mods though at all.
