I was playing MC10 and in a survival world I found a spider dungeon, I looted the chest and received a golden apple from it. I left the dungeon and went to another cave then I had to Save and Quit game, after returning I checked my inventory and the golden apple was changed into an Enchanted Apple!

Wierd because appleenchanted and golden_apple are two different item ids don't know how this would happen
