Summary
With the introduction of Spears, Zombified Piglins can now spawn wielding this weapon. Due to the weapon's reach and area of effect, they frequently accidentally hit allies.
Unlike regular Piglins, which have AI logic to ignore accidental friendly fire, Zombified Piglins treat this damage as a hostile act. This triggers Pack Aggression against the ally holding the Spear.
Consequently, the entire group loses aggro on their original target (whether it is a Player, Snow Golem, or other mobs) and switches priority to attack the Zombified Piglin that dealt the damage.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a group of Zombified Piglins, ensuring some are equipped with Spears.
Introduce a hostile target (e.g., a Player in Survival mode or a Snow Golem) to trigger the group's aggression.
Wait for a Zombified Piglin to accidentally hit a nearby ally with the Spear while attacking the target.
Observe the group's target priority.
Observed Results
Upon friendly fire, the Zombified Piglins immediately stop attacking the original target (Player/Snow Golem) and start attacking the Zombified Piglin that dealt the accidental damage.
Expected Results:
Zombified Piglins should ignore accidental damage dealt by other Zombified Piglins (consistent with regular Piglins) and maintain aggression toward their original target.
