Following the 1.26 update, the UI on Amazon Kids Fire HD tablets has become extremely small, making the game effectively unplayable for children.
This occurred without any change to settings. The interface scale appears capped at the maximum available level, yet remains too small to use. The previous lower scale option (Scale 1) has disappeared, and there is no way to revert.
There are now numerous reports of the same issue across Fire HD devices, which suggests this is not isolated to a single configuration.
Given Minecraft’s scale and the size of its mobile player base, it is surprising that this update was not validated across common Android tablet environments—particularly Amazon Fire devices, which are widely used by children.
Could the team confirm:
Was the UI scaling system changed in 1.26?
Was Fire OS explicitly tested prior to release?
Is there an immediate workaround?
When can we expect a patch?
This update has rendered the game inaccessible for younger players on these devices.
Appreciate acknowledgement and clarity on next steps.
