Up until version 26.3, I have played on Minecraft Bedrock on Windows, with Minecraft Bedrock on Xbox, both signed into the same account. Either side joining a world created by the other via LAN has worked until now, and users show up as “username” and “username (2)”. The same account has access to Minecraft Bedrock on both platforms, which is why we are using the same account. Now, we get the “Blaze” error, which tells me I can no longer do this. I believe this to be unexpected behavior, as each platform is a separate copy of the game.
Steps to reproduce:
Own both Minecraft Bedrock for Windows and Xbox
Start a game on Minecraft Bedrock for Windows
Sign into the same account on Xbox (same LAN)
Join the LAN game from the Xbox
Expected behavior (through 26.3):
Windows player shows up as “username”
Xbox player shows up as “username (2)”
Actual behavior (26.10):
Windows player shows up as “username”
Xbox player cannot join, gets error “Blaze”
Windows and Xbox are interchangeable, as the Xbox player should be able to start the game and have the Windows player join.
I believe this was incorrectly marked as a duplicate. I don’t see another issue similar to this reported against 26.10. Can you please point me to the issue this is a duplicate of?
