When creating a custom item with the spear enchantment, the only enchantment available are unbreaking, mending, riptide, loyalty, channeling, impaling and curse of vanishing.
Step to recreate:
Create a custom item.
Add the “
minecraft:enchantable” component.type
"slot": "spear"for the parameter with any valueIn game, place the item in an enchanting table. the only enchantment available will be trident enchantments ( this works in Anvils too with enchanted books)

In most places, spear refers to tridents. For spear enchantments you need to use the melee_spear slot.
