Character creator pieces (and custom-model classic skin elements) not hiding properly when wearing armor

While an oddly-specific bug, I noticed something while using certain character creator elements on skins, particularly the ones that are custom model: whenever I wear armor, the modeled elements disappear in the inventory (I’m aware this may be intentional in order to allow for normal flow of the game for when wearing armor), but the elements remain during regular gameplay when they are supposed to disappear. This happens with all elements (body, arms, legs, feet) except the head elements (helmet does replace whatever modeled stuff has been placed on the head), and this issue persists with classic skins that are custom model (as seen with the examples attached here from A Minecraft Movie Hero Pack’s Dawn skin, which has body and head elements that I assume are supposed to vanish when wearing armor but only the hair element for the head vanishes when a helmet is worn). I believe this is an issue that should be looked at because I’m aware some custom model skins in the Marketplace (such as the ones of IP collaborations, I know there’s many of those) have more detailed pieces that might have the intention of vanishing whenever the player wears armor in order to keep multiplayer fairness/regular flow of the game, but they likely don’t vanish (a more guaranteed example is the custom-modeled skin elements from the character creator as stated earlier), so it would be of great quality-of-life in my opinion to have this issue looked at and resolved.

As a side note, the character creator items used to test the issue are Boat Shark Inflatable (Outerwear), Snow Shoes (Footwear) and Fungal Spores (Bottomwear). However, the issue is not specific to these items and no custom-modeled character creator elements hide properly when wearing armor (except head-worn elements, those work prefectly fine for some reason).

P.S. If necessary to know, I don’t have enabled any add-ons nor resource packs for these images in order to show that issue is present in the base game without modifications.

EDIT: As of writing this text, this issue still persists in latest versions and when testing if it happened on other devices, the bug was still present regardless of device.
