Too many request error (Error L-429) triggers while surfing the Marketplace

Steps to reproduce:

  1. With Minecraft open, go to the Marketplace

  2. Surf around

Expected result: no error should be shown

Actual result: Error L-429 occurs after surfing for some time if you are fast enough (see too many request error by surfing too fast.MP4)

Note: Also affects the Dressing Room by surfing the Character Creator. May be a WEB issue under API.

Cannot reproduce as of July 22

Request to reopen: Can reproduce again since August 4 (date) / 26.33 (game version).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the Dressing Room

  2. Click the icon of a character T-posing (Character Creator button)

  3. Open the “Style” dropdown

  4. Click Jacket

  5. Scroll to the bottom and click “Next”

  6. Scroll to the bottom again

Expected result: No error should pop-up

Expected result: Error L-429 appears, blocking step 6 from finishing, this makes scrolling to the bottom list impossible.
