In structure abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1, the suspicious gravel is missing its loot table.
Steps to Repro:
/place method:
My original method before I found a seed with this campsite type
Run this command: /place structure abandoned_camp_cold_taiga
Keep going until you get an abandoned camp with a trail-ruin like campsite (abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1)
Brush the suspicious gravel.
Seed method:
The method most players would prefer, easier method
Create a new world with these settings enabled: In creative, Enabled Drop 3 of 2026 experiment, enabled cheats and with this seed: -321707274
This takes you to the abandoned cold taiga camp with the campsite
abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1. Run this command: /tp -45652 71 41371Break the snow layers around the white terracotta in the camp.
Brush any suspicious block of the 2x3 suspicious gravel cluster
No loot comes out.
If you go into spectator mode, you can prove this trail-ruin like site in the campsite is part of the camp and not a trail ruin when you go underneath the campsite as there is no additional blocks below.
Observed Results:
The gravel gave no loot after brushing in the campsite abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1.
For my original /place method, for comparison, I placed a trail ruin with /place command and the placed trail ruin’s suspicious gravel gave loot. This proves it is an issue with the structure of the abandoned camps in cold taigas (snowy taigas) and not the /place command.
Expected Results:
The suspicious gravel needs a loot table in the campsite abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1.

Any world seed containing a camp containing this type of campsite abandoned_camp/camp/snowy_taiga/campsite_snowy_taiga_1 can work, since the structure is legitimate, but it requires time, luck and patience on random seeds, as this specific campsite structure is rare to find.
Here is how to improve your chances of finding a camp like this:
Seeds where you start in cold biomes can be good, especially snowy taiga biomes.
Chances go up further if you use /locate structure minecraft:abandoned_camp_cold_taiga
Be very careful of bug MCPE-240026 which can crash in the process of finding such camps.
Using new chunks only can help if a camp you tried to find didn’t go your way after finding it and loading the chunks around it. /locate structure minecraft:abandoned_camp_cold_taiga true
You don’t actually need resource packs to find it, but darkening textures (like snow for example) other than wool in resource packs helps increase visibility and chances to find it.
Took me a while, but finally found it! Anyone can use this seed and reproduce:

Camp Coordinates: -45652 71 41371
Command: /tp -45652 71 41371
You need to enable Drop 3 of 2026 Experiment to reproduce with my given seed and coordinates.
Once in my given seed and coordinates:
Break the snow around the white terracotta in the camp
Brush the suspicious gravel cluster
No loot comes out
