The bug:
Straw bed collision does not match Java, specifically, the last smaller cuboid on top of the straw bed head isn’t considered part of the collision. This makes it impossible to step up from a straw bed head to a chest while sneaking using the last smaller cuboid model of the straw bed head unlike Java.
steps to repro:
place a straw bed
Place an armor stand on the straw bed head (Note: the armor stand floats above the straw bed before it falls)
Place an armor stand on the straw bed foot (Note: the armor stand floats above the straw bed before it falls)
Observed Result:
The armor stands are exactly on the same height, no differences.
Expected Result:
The straw bed’s collision box should consider the last cuboid on the straw bed head and exactly match java edition.

The collision box is different from a block’s hitbox. A block’s collision box determines how entities are going to collide with and walk on the block when moving about. A block’s hitbox determines how players will interact with the block , if their cursor will select it or not.
This report, MCPE-240697, specifically covers how entities will interact with the block when moving around and on it.
This is not an exact duplicate of MCPE-240695 , because MCPE-240697 covers entity movement collisions with the straw bed head, whereas MCPE-240695 covers how players will interact with the block when selecting it with their cursor.
oh yeah also when you place it randomly, the head stays while the second block dosent form
bad thing for bridges
