Custom skin shows wrong name in UI

When selecting a custom skin, it shows "skin.Standard.Custom" in the user interface insted of showing just "Custom Skin" or something like that.

Can confirm: Minecraft PE 1.12.0.18, Android 8.0.0, Nexus 6P

Another error that occurs, is that the "Choose Skin" text tends to appear and disappear very quickly when moving around with a controller.
