Opening Crash on iPad 7th gen (iPadOS 18.7.10) – white screen then app closes (26.50 / 26.51)

Minecraft version: 26.50 and 26.51 Hotfix

Steps to reproduce:

1. Tap on the Minecraft app icon on the home screen.

2. The Mojang logo appears normally.

3. The screen turns completely white for about 2–3 seconds.

4. The app closes automatically and returns to the home screen.

5. No error message is displayed at any point.

Expected result:
The game should launch normally and show the main menu.

Actual result:
The game crashes during startup and never reaches the main menu. This happens 100% of the time and is fully reproducible.

Troubleshooting already tried (without success):

• Deleted and reinstalled the app completely.

• Performed a hard reboot (Home button + Power button).

• Renamed the "games" folder.

• Deleted all three folders inside the Minecraft directory; new folders were created, but the crash persists.

• Tried launching with Wi-Fi turned off (issue still occurs).

Additional information:

• Multiple crash dump files (.dmp) and session files are generated in the "crash" folder after each attempt.

• The issue is specific to iPad; other Android devices can connect and play normally.

• This appears to be a UI initialization or network initialization issue, as the white screen occurs before any menu is rendered.

• The 26.51 Hotfix did NOT resolve this issue.

• Reports from other users confirm this affects multiple iPad models (iPad 6th gen, iPad 7th gen, iPad Pro 12.9 2nd gen) and multiple iPadOS versions (17.7.11 and 18.7.10), so it is not OS-version specific.
