Shulker Boxes stored in Ender Chests lose their contents when opening existing worlds in 26.60

Summary:

When a world created in a previous version, such as 26.51 Hotfix, is opened in 26.60.28 Preview, all Shulker Boxes stored inside Ender Chests lose their contents.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new world in 26.51 Hotfix.

  2. Obtain a Shulker Box.

  3. Place items inside the Shulker Box.

  4. Place the Shulker Box inside an Ender Chest.

  5. Save and quit the world.

  6. Import the world into Minecraft Preview.

  7. Open the world and open the Ender Chest.

  8. Hover over the Shulker Box.

Observed Results:

The Shulker Box is empty and all of its previously stored items are missing.

Expected Results:

The contents of Shulker Boxes should remain intact when opening worlds from previous versions, as they did before.

Notes:

A world to reproduce the issue has been provided, in case it is needed, although it should not be.

I’m on my S23Ultra playing MCPE beta and it happened to me too! Storing Shulker Boxes in Enderchests are EMPTY but storing in Barrels or just sitting on the floor is ok. Weird bug. Please fix!

I noticed this the other day when the 26.60 came out. I lost everything that was stored in skulker boxes in my ender chest, including the dragon egg.
