Immediate crash after loading Minecraft - two ipads not resolved.

One ipad is running iOS 15.8.8 and the other is running 16.7.16 - neither can be updated any further for operating systems. Neither iPad has been given offered an update for Minecraft since version 26.51 was released. Minecraft stopped working on both iPads immediately after updating to 26.51. One ipad has the red Mojang screen load and then a white screen spin before it crashes. The other iPad has the red Mojang screen load then a white screen (no spinning) then it crashes. We previously voted on another similar report, which says it’s been resolved, but it hasn’t for us. I’ve attached videos of both.

There is no update being provided to our iPads.

I see that other people have resolved this, so am not sure if we must continue to wait for some reason until an update is provided to us, or if this is still an issue.
