Minecraft Bedrock Edition — Bug Report
Title: Custom Skin Resets to Default After Restart and Character Arm Clips Through Blocks
Platform: Android (Samsung Galaxy A15 4G)
Game Edition: Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26
Description:
I have encountered two issues while playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Android.
Bug 1: Custom Skin Resets to Default
I use a custom blue-and-white skin. Whenever I exit Minecraft and open the game again, my custom skin is no longer equipped, and the character reverts to the default skin. I have to manually equip my custom skin again every time I restart the game.
Expected behavior: My custom skin should remain equipped after closing and reopening Minecraft.
Actual behavior: My character reverts to the default skin, requiring me to re-equip the custom skin manually.
Bug 2: Character's Arm Clips Through Blocks
My character's arm appears to clip through blocks in certain situations. This seems to be a visual or character-model issue.
Expected behavior: The character's arm should render correctly without clipping through blocks.
Actual behavior: The arm appears to intersect with blocks.
Steps to Reproduce Bug 1:
1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
2. Equip my custom blue-and-white skin.
3. Exit the game.
4. Launch Minecraft again.
5. Observe that the custom skin has reverted to the default skin.
Steps to Reproduce Bug 2:
1. Launch a Minecraft world.
2. Move the character's arm close to or against a block.
3. Observe whether the arm clips through the block.
Frequency: The skin issue occurs whenever I exit and reopen the game. The arm-clipping issue needs further investigation.
Impact: These issues negatively affect the player experience, especially when using a custom character skin.
Please investigate these issues and consider fixing them in a future update.
